Types of Student Visas for France:

For prospective students looking to enroll in bachelor’s, master’s, and other courses, France offers three different types of visas.

Short-Stay Visa: Granted for classes lasting less than ninety days.

Temporary Long-Stay Visa (VLS-TS): For a maximum of three to six months during a course or training program.

Long Stay Visa (Student Visa): The residence permit is the same as the extended stay visa. This visa is granted for work in France and for programs such as master’s, PhD, and bachelor’s degrees. This visa may be extended further by the requirements.

Eligibility and Criteria:

• Applicants must be at least eighteen years old.

• Get a short-stay visa if the course is less than three months long.

• Students can study any course for three or six months with the issuance of a temporary long-stay visa.

• When you arrive in France, no more paperwork is required.

• Students whose training lasts longer than six months are issued a long-stay visa, which is equivalent to a residency permit.
